About Main Street

About Main Street

Main Street is a growing and exciting congregation with a vision to change lives through Jesus Christ. The church has a long heritage, having been founded in the 1840s, but actively looks to the future with confidence and excitement. The church is constantly looking for new ministries and new ways of touching peoples lives. Yet, the commitment through it all is to help people grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

The congregation is made up of folks from diverse spiritual backgrounds. Those include folks who have been Christians for many years, those new to the faith and those investigating what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Main Street has a strong belief that people are called to be on a path of continual growth in their relationship with and commitment to Jesus Christ.

While an autonomous congregation, Main Street is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada.
